Departing: 9.00am at BP Melbourne Rd, Little River

Requirements: UHF radio, standard recovery gear, rated recovery points, good all terrains or better. Snorkel required as we may cross the Murray River. Winch preferred. Extra Fuel will be required – last fill at Swifts Creek, then no fuel until the last day. If required, Thredbo villiage is only 23km from Tom Groggin however. Bring a sense of humour and swimmers.

Note: This will be a 5 day trip leaving the Wednesday before Australia Day. We will stay at the Ensay Recreation Reserve on the first night so it is possible to travel up on Wednesday evening.

Outline: Ensay night 1. Night 2, Poplars Camp via Garron Point track and Limestone Creek Track. Night 3, Tom Groggin via Davies Plains Track and across the Murray. Night 4 Gibson’s Hut via Mt Pinnibar. As always this is subject to change depending on conditions and events.
