TRACK CLEARING 2018 – OTWAYS

Dates 27th Saturday and 28th Sunday of October

Meeting at the Bunnings Waurn Ponds – 8:00 for a 8:15am departure, then heading down to Deans Marsh for a briefing by Parks Vic.

It looks like we will be doing a different area than last year, further down the coast around Lavers Hills and working our way back to Big Hill camp ground first. This is a good opportunity to drive some tracks that you may not have done before.

Camping over night at Big hill camp ground. Dinner and breakfast will be supplied by the club for anyone that attends. (Must be over 16 years old to work during the day). Anyone that would like to come and camp just for the night is welcome too.

Dress code – long pants and shirt, glove and safety boots.

All chainsaw operators must be accredited and have their proof of competency with them.

There will be two chainsaws hired for the use on the weekend.

Anyone that uses their vehicle for the Saturday/Sunday will be reimbursed $50 for fuel.
